First Essay Description
I am going to write my first essay on a place that I've been going to for a long time. I am going to write about where my friend Dan lives. His parents are divorced but they houses they live in are about 100 yards away from each other, only divided by one wooden fence. These houses are interesting simply because of the lack of supervision. Dan's house's are the best party houses I know of, and I think it would be really fun to write a descriptive paper about them. Just today I went over to his dad's house, where he has a half pipe in the back yard. The half pipe recently had work done on it. When I pulled up to his street I was greeted by way more cars than I wanted to see, and had to park far away. When I got there, there were around 25 people in his back yard, around 15 of them taking turns on the ramp. The house that is used more out of the two is certainly his dad's, and I'll probably focus on that one. Out of all the places I've ever been it's the most open. There have been times where I forget something there, so I just walk into the house when nobody is home to retrieve it. Since our papers need an "implied thesis" mine will probably aim towards the fact that his house is very crazy, fun, and open. The only drawbacks to having so many people flow through one house is that it's hard to keep it nice. I think this will be a fun paper to write simply because the place I'm going to observe is so crazy. 400 words should be easy to cover when there is so much detail to report.
